A biography of the famous Scottish racing team, by Eric Dymock
Now with the printers for publication by Paul Skilleter Books/PJ Publishing Ltd
in November 2007, this is a new work by the renowned journalist and author Eric Dymock. It
details the full history of the extraordinary team which brought Jaguar two Le
Mans wins with the D-type, and achieved many other successes worldwide. The
book also tells, for the first time, the full story of the team’s
controversial founder and patron, David Murray, who after achieving international fame
for Ecurie Ecosse, was to leave Scotland in mysterious circumstances and die in
obscurity abroad.
In a large, 250pp high quality format with numerous illustrations, this book is being
produced in limited numbers and will likely become much sought-after by
admirers of both Jaguar and Ecurie Ecosse. For full details and to order please go to

THE JAGUAR CONNOISSEUR SERIES
An entirely new range of Jaguar books aimed at the serious enthusiast will commence publication in 2008. The
Jaguar Connoisseur Series will tell the story of specific SS and Jaguar models in motor sport through outstanding
period photography dating from, in some cases, the 1930s. Compiled by Paul Skilleter with Ted Walker, the series
will be built largely on Ted's unmatched Ferret Fotographics negative archive. Ted is selecting the most
interesting and significant images from this archive, most never been seen before. These will be presented in
a series of large format, extremely high quality, hardbound books which will provide an entirely fresh look at Jaguar.
The first three titles are scheduled for publication in 2008; their working titles are:
No. 1: Jaguar E-type in motor racing from 1961
No. 2: Jaguar in saloon car racing from 1952
No. 3: Jaguar-engined sports racing cars (HWM, Lister, Cooper, Tojeiro etc) from 1950
